Today’s UPS systems offer a wealth of maintenance and management features that ensure long, reliable operation. UPS choices are vast, with a bewildering spectrum of features to choose from, but a UPS must deliver adequate power to run the load long enough to restore utility power, also called runtime, or to fully shut down. Load power is measured in watts (W) or, more accurately, volt-amperes (VA); UPS systems range from just a few hundred VA up to massive 800 kVA behemoths.

ups2Liebert® APM™ 3-Phase UPS, 15kVA-90kVA. The row-based Liebert APM is a transformer-free, on-line uninterruptible power supply (UPS) that allows quick and easy capacity increases with modular scalability–with no additional floor space required. Liebert APM operates with the industry’s highest data center power efficiency–up to 94% at loads of 50-100%.

The 208 Volt, three-phase Liebert APM is available in two models, expandable with modular power scalability:

Liebert APM 45kW frame size is expandable from 15 to 45kW, with up to 45kW of capacity, or up to 30kW of capacity with a 15kW module for redundancy. This frame size includes internal batteries, and is compatible with the matching external battery cabinet and the optional Liebert APM bypass distribution cabinet (BDC).

Liebert APM 90kW frame size is expandable from 15 to 90kW, with up to 90kW of capacity, or up to 75kW of capacity with a 15kW module for redundancy. This frame size requires the matching external battery cabinet, and is compatible with the optional Liebert APM BDC bypass distribution cabinet.

ups3Liebert NX UPS, 40-200kVA  uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with Softscale technology is a true on-line, double conversion, three-phase UPS system that provides a scalable solution to optimize data center power design. Uninterruptible power can grow from 40 to 60 to 80kVA, from 80 to 100 to 120kVA, and from 160 to 200kVA. The UPS may also be paralleled for additional data center infrastructure capacity or for redundant operation.

The Liebert NXL is available in both single module and multi-module systems. Capacities include 400, 500, 600, 800 kVA unit ratings. Liebert NXL systems use unique digital vector control technology allowing the UPS to eliminate, in real time, all overloads, frequency variations, transient disturbances, brief interruptions and power outage incidents. Liebert GXT4 Micro’s 0.9 power factor provides increased power for protected loads. Its compact rack/tower design suits all types of installations and application space requirements, with an extremely user friendly LCD display, along with its controllable sockets that grant selective management of connected critical loads.
